The Conway Springs Volunteer Fire Department exists to provide a professional level of fire, life safety, and emergency services to the people and property within the area served to prevent or minimize the loss of life, pain, suffering, and property damage. We will accomplish our mission through prevention, education, fire suppression, rescue, mitigation of hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency activities. The department will strive to deliver the highest possible level of service with the resources provided.
Under the direction of Kendall Thompson, Fire Chief, CS Fire offers first response, education, fire safety programs and fire prevention programs for our schools.

Conway Springs Emergency Medical Services is a full-time, advanced life support service comprising three shifts, working 48 hours on and 96 hours off. Shifts are a combination of EMTs, Advanced EMTs and Paramedics under the leadership of Christina Perry, Director of EMS.
Conway Springs EMS responds to all medical calls within the City of Conway Springs and the surrounding 188 square miles of rural Sumner County, Kansas. On average, our crews respond to approximately 220 calls annually.
Our station is located just downtown and the city offers our staff full facilities, sleeping quarters, training & training reimbursement, continuing education, gym membership and growth opportunities. We would love to have you join our team!
